Welcome to our Team…

For hundreds of years the Church has been engaged in bringing to residents of our town and villages the good news of the love of God, revealed in Jesus Christ.

In a society where there is much bad news, loss of common values and a sense of being adrift, we try to embody and share the good news of God’s care for everyone. We follow someone who said he is ‘the Light of the World’ and ‘the Way’.

However, we’re still on the way - we’ve not arrived. With the wider family of the Church of England in Devon, we are trying to grow in prayer, make and grow disciples and serve the people of Devon with joy. We gather to worship and learn not because we think we are good enough but because we know our need of God. We are attempting to be the people God wants us to be by trying to joyfully and honestly live the good news we proclaim.
